SeniorCenter - City of Sulphur Springs Senior Activity Center - General Contractor

The City of Sulphur Springs, Texas (the Owner) will accept bids for a contract for the complete construction of a new Senior Activity Center at 301 Oak Avenue, Sulphur Springs. The Owner will accept electronic sealed proposals until 1pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, via BidNet Direct. Bids will not be accepted in person or through mail service. This project is federally funded by a Community Development Block Grant-CARES grant through the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). Careful consideration should be given to all grant compliance requirements named in this Project Manual including Section 3 requirements, and Davis Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA). Bids submitted for the TDHCA CDBG federal funds are subject to compliance with DBRA prevailing wages and Section 3 requirements.. A Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon faithful performance of the contract and payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials, shall be executed by the successful bidder and accompany the signed contract after award. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the Pre-bid Conference scheduled for this project at 11am on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the City of Sulphur Springs City Hall, 201 N. Davis St., Sulphur Springs, Texas 75482, Council Chambers located on the 1st Floor, followed by a visit to the project site. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory but strongly encouraged.
