Contract documents must be obtained from the City’s Purchasing Department. For information on receiving a copy of the documents, contact the following by email: Ashley Bruns, City of Seguin Purchasing Department Email: abruns@seguintexas.gov Bid preparation must be in accordance with “Instructions to Bidders” bound in the project manual. Please note that to be eligible to bid on this project, at the time of the pre-bid conference, all bidders must be: a) Current members in good standing of the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA); and b) Must have successfully completed a minimum of three (3) professionally designed golf course projects in the most recent five (5) years. c) Additionally, the successful bidder must register with the City of Seguin as a licensed contractor prior to beginning construction of the project.
Bids must be submitted on the form furnished in the project manual and must be accompanied by bid bond or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid payable to The City of Seguin, Texas . The sealed bid envelope must contain on the outside of the envelope the Contractor’s name and address in the upper left corner, marked and addressed as follows: City of Seguin Purchasing Department Attn: Starcke Park Golf Course Renovations 211 North River Street City Hall Annex Seguin, TX 78155 Sealed bids are due: 3:00 PM Central on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024. Bids received after this time will not be opened.
There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid conference held on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, at 10 AM Central Time beginning at the Starcke Park GC Clubhouse promptly at 10:00 AM local time for a tour of the site.
