REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
INVESTMENT ADVISORY SERVICES
The City of Pflugerville, Texas herein after “City”, is soliciting offers to enter into an agreement with a qualified Individual, Firm, or Corporation herein after “Respondent”, to provide investment advisory services for the City’s investment portfolio.  Bid will be posted for 2 consecutive weeks in the Pflugerville Pflag beginning on May 19th and May 26th the deadline for submission of Proposals will be July 9, 2021 @ 3:00PM. 1. SCOPE:  The following Scope of Services provides additional information and outlines specific requirements that must be met as part of the Respondent’s proposal. 
2. AUTHORITY:  The City is soliciting offers under the guidelines provided with authority through Texas Government Code Chapter 2254.  All proposals must meet the requirements outlined in this RFQ to be considered for evaluation by the City.
3. BACKGROUND/HISTORY:  The City of Pflugerville, Texas, incorporated in 1965, is located 15.6 miles northeast of downtown Austin, the State Capital of Texas. This location places the City of Pflugerville within three hours driving time of ninety percent of the population of the State of Texas.  As with much of the Central Texas region, the population of Pflugerville continues to grow. For fiscal year 2020, the City’s Planning Department has estimated a total population of 74,000. This growth is expected to continue, although the pace may be slowing slightly.
