RFP-06-023-212 - Auditing Services

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cedar Park (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced public accounting firms, whose principal officers are independent certified public accountants to obtain independent audit services for performance of the City’s annual financial audit for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2012, with the option of auditing its financial statements for each of the four (4) subsequent fiscal years, based upon satisfactory performance. The City’s charter requires that the City’s auditor “in any event shall not perform the audit for more than five (5) consecutive years”. Audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
