The City of Bay City is accepting sealed proposals for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal and Recycling Services. Sealed bid/proposals will be received by the City of Bay City at the office of the City Secretary located at 1901 5th St, Bay City, TX 77414. Proposers will find the Request for Proposal at www.bidnetdirect.com/texas.

Interested bidders/proposers are invited to attend the Bid/Proposal opening at City Hall Council Chambers, 1901 5th St, Bay City, TX 77414 on the date and time specified. Presence is not mandatory.

Submission of Proposal

Sealed proposals will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on August 25, 2023, at City of Bay City, City Secretary’s Office, 1901 5th St, Bay City, TX 77414.

Contractors must submit three (3) copies of the Proposal in a sealed envelope by the designated date and time and at the designated location. The envelope for the sealed Proposals must be addressed to “City Secretary, Jeanna Thompson”, bear the name of the firm/Contractor, their address, and be clearly marked “PROPOSAL FOR 2023 SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING SERVICES, TO BE OPENED AT 2:30 P.M. ON AUGUST 25, 2023.” Proposals received without markings as directed are subject to rejection.

No emailed or faxed Proposals will be accepted. Proposals will be accepted only if delivered in person or via mail courier. The City of Bay City will not be responsible for missing, lost, or late deliveries. If submitting via mail courier, the sealed envelope containing the proposal must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the City of Bay City, City Secretary’s Office, 1901 5th St, Bay City, TX 77414.

Any Proposal received late or after the deadline or by fax or email will not be considered. Late Proposals will be returned unopened to the Contractor.
