Summary of Specifications:
Bexar County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide debt collection services. Senate Bill 1778 has amended the Code of Criminal Procedure to allow counties to contract with public or private vendors to provide collection services. These services would include working with our courts to collect delinquent costs, fines, fees and restitution charges. Bexar County plans to start with at least two test courts or departments and reserves the right to add more courts as best determined.
