Lock out all energy sources B. Remove and re-install pump C. Load and unload pump ; Contractor A. Transportation B. Inspection of all pump wear points C. Perform all machine work to OEM specifications D. Preform all repairs to OEM specifications E. Supply refurbishment parts F. Balancing PART 3 - Transportation 3.1 Contractor shall transport pump to and from repair shop A. Pump must be transported in the vertical position B. Allow 2 hours for loading and unloading PART 4 - Repair Parts 4.1 OEM replacement parts shall be used unless an equal part is approved by KUB A. Only SKF replacement bearing shall be used B. Replace all sensors C. Lubrication: Chevron Regal R&O 68 D. High Chrome Impeller (when available) ; - Pump Refurbishment 5.1 Disassembly: Contractor shall disassemble pump and inspect for excessive wear, cracks and deformation. A. Check all bearing housings for roundness and trueness ; B. Check shaft for sleeve fit, bearing fit, and straightness C. Check impeller threads and jam nut for proper fit D. Check winding condition ; A. Install new sleeve B. Sandblast and coat impeller with Belzona wear coating C. Sandblast and coat volute with Belzona wear coating D. If necessary, rewind rotor/stator to manufacturer specifications for variable frequency drive duty (Must be approved by KUB’s project manager) E. Replace casing ring with new stainless-steel casing ring 1) Use bore and pin method or 263 LocTite for attachment F. Solder and heat shrink all internal sensor connections 1) Ohm sensors after connecting to ensure factory installation requirements are met. G. Check impeller threads and jam nut for proper fit H. Install new bearings I. Install new gaskets J. Install new grease seals and “O” rings.
