Specifications include, but are not limited to: a.All psychological testing and evaluationsshall meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as, determinea candidate’s ability to perform all essential functions of the job position. b.All psychological testing and evaluations shall be conducted at a State-designated facility or at a mutually agreed location upon request of the State.c.Notification shall be provided of the results of the psychological testing and evaluations, including but not limited to, background information, evaluation findings, the types of tests administered, the risks assessed associated with placing the employee/applicant in a confrontational or adversarial situation at any given time, and certification that an individual can safely perform the essential functions of a job position.d.Notification shall be provided of the results of the examinations within seven (7) business days for an individual examination and within thirty (30) calendar days for a large group (i.e., Trooper recruit classes of more than one hundred (100) cadets where all are simultaneously being considered for hire, etc.)e.Certification of commissioned employees using the appropriate Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission Confirmation of Psychological Form(Attachment Three)documenting that the employee/applicant is free of any mental disorder which, in the professional judgment of the Contractor, would impair the subject’s ability to perform any essential function of the job or would cause the subject to pose a direct threat to public safety.
