The project is currently in the design process with an anticipated construction start date in the Fall of 2026.The project will include the preservation of the TSLA Building exterior, renovation and reconfiguration of the TSLA Building interior, removal of the stacks portion of the building, including the vertical circulation core, and replacement with an addition meeting the functional needs of the Supreme Court. Design will include a secure and accessible connector between the TSLA Building and the Supreme Court Building. New mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems will be provided for the existing buildings as well as for the new addition. There will also be moderate reprogramming and rework of the Supreme Court Building as needed to meet the program and return all Court related lease locations in the Metro area to this complex. The project design will embrace the opportunities of the existing facilities while considering a more modern approach to open offices.
