• Provide (2) two new units that meet the following specifications: o Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER): 11 o Refrigerant Type: R-454B o Single - Fixed Speed Compressor Unit Capacity/Nominal Cooling (BTU)-036- 36,000 BTU o Power Supply (Volts-Hz-Ph): 208/230-60-1 o Heat Designation: 10KW o Barometric Damper w/ 15% OSA Operating Condition-Z- Low Ambient UFCC o Evap Freeze Sensor w/CCH (Std. HP/ICE/Scholar) o Top Supply/Center Return o Cabinet Color: Gray • Any Respondents visiting the site should be prepared to measure the square footage of the classroom and take any notes as to what they need in their bids. • Unit sizes and tonnage will have to be determined by the Respondents, keeping in mind that the new units will have to be of the same style and capacity. • Respondents shall specify tonnage on the proposal and provide justification on how the tonnage was determined. • Units should be bid to fit in the existing structure, and include any flashing or trim, etc. • Respondents should include any trim etc., inside the classroom. • Respondents should include any electrical work as well as thermostats. • Respondents will be responsible for the removal and disposal of the old units and freon collection. • Any crane rental and trucking costs shall be included. • Assume the use of the owner’s dumpster for the disposal of everyday construction trash. Any big items shall be hauled off by the vendor. • Respondents shall list warranty information and an approximate lead time on their bid submittal. • Respondents shall be responsible for properly installing units onto the building and ensuring proper fit as part of the total cost. • Payment and Performance Bond will be required if the bid is over $100,000 or over. • Respondent to provide total costs, including all parts, materials, and labor required to complete the project. All labor should be based on normal working hours. • Respondent to also provide a breakdown of pricing if the owner purchases the unit directly using the county’s tax-exempt status – reflect what the amounts will be for the unit to be purchased directly by the county. Sumner County reserves the right to purchase the unit directly.
