Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Consult with the supervising attorney in reviewing the actions of a firm, blaster, limited blaster, or handler to identify any deviations from federal or state laws, regulations, and industry standards. b. Review and examine complaint case materials, including but not limited to blasting shot records, seismograph reports, and peak particle velocity tables, and other supporting documents to render an expert opinion considering state and federal regulations and industry standards. c. Confer with the supervising attorney in order to determine relevant facts and applicable law and prepare for the administrative hearing as necessary or required. d. Prepare and deliver a written report detailing the Contractor’s expert opinion with regard to any deviations from federal or state laws, regulations, and industry standards within thirty (30) days of receipt of the complaint file and other supporting documentation, or such other time period as mutually agreed upon and confirmed in writing by the supervising attorney. e. Complete and sign a conflict of interest disclosure statement. f. Respond to and/or be available for, interrogatories, deposition, and other discovery requests during the course of litigation as needed or required by the supervising attorney.
