Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this project is for construction of a new fleet maintenance facility for the City of Bartlett. This project consists of a pre-engineered metal building approximately 18,000 SQFT in size. The building will have approximately 4,200 SQFT of Office/Parts Storage area and 13,000 SQFT of Service Bay/Garage area. As part of the Service Bay/Garage area there will be a welding room, fluid storage room, and a tire maintenance area. The project will also include preforming site preparations including all grading activities and parking lot paving. Site utility services are to be performed by others, however, tie-ins to the Utility’s main services will be a part of this project. Also included as part of this project is erosion control, sod, and associated work. This project does require a TDEC ARAP and a TDEC SWPPP. The Contractor shall implement Erosion Prevention and Soil Conservation (EPSC) Best Management Practices (BMP’s) as required by the City of Bartlett and the TN Department of Environment and Conservation. (TDEC). Certain facility items such as fluid storage tanks, pneumatic pump systems to transfer maintenance fluids, a bridge crane, and a compressed air system shall be included as part of this construction project.
