Specifications include, but are not limited to: Partnering with an accredited Educator Preparation Provider (EPPs) to establish an English Language Learner teacher licensure program based in the District’s Schools of Innovation. The goal of this program is to create job-embedded placements for licensure candidates. These candidates should receive EL endorsement license status and fill current vacancies to support McMurray’s and Antioch’s EL student population through the Schools of Innovation. This vendor must be able to: 1. Support ten (10) licensure candidates at McMurray and eight (8) licensure candidates at Antioch in job embedded placements for each cycle of the contract 2. Licensure coursework through an accredited licensure program 3. Weekly job embedded coaching and/or teaching support (including but not limited to instructional strategies, and co-teaching support) 4. Teachers must pass the EL Praxis certification test 5. Consider hosting classes off-campus to alleviate teacher concerns of parking, traffic, etc. There is possible location availability at McMurray Middle School with technical capabilities to use Zoom, Skype, etc.
