Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor shall furnish all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, traffic control devices, tools, and transportation, and other resources for pruning, trimming, dead wooding, and removal of City owned trees in compliance with National Arborist Association (NAA) Standards and ANSI A300 Standards. 2. All work performed by the contractor will be subject to inspection by the Development Services Department, Engineering Division of the City and payment will be withheld for any work not complying with the above referenced specs until the deficiencies are corrected. Deficiencies shall be corrected at the sole expense of the contractor. 3. The contractor will supply the necessary equipment to fulfill the job such as chainsaws, blowers, etc. 4. The normal workweek shall consist of forty (40) productive hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday unless authorized by the City to do otherwise. 5. Contractor shall remove all wood, brush, chips, and debris from the job site. Contractor shall handle such material in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations, and shall take care to avoid obstructing roads, sidewalks, and lawns. Contractor shall be responsible for all parts of the work area and the removal of all debris and surplus material, so as to leave the area in as good a condition as when the work commenced. 11. The City is seeking a qualified contractor to perform for tree removal and related work. The scope of work is to provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, and services required to perform tree removal work as specified herein.
