Specifications include, but are not limited to: construction management (CM) services for infrastructure improvements within and adjacent to the Metro Nashville Fairgrounds campus necessary for existing and future fairgrounds events and the new MLS Soccer Stadium. The project components include, but are not limited to: Bridge construction Roadway/street construction (earthwork, grading, drainage, curb/gutter, paving, signing, marking, etc.) Sidewalks/hardscape/landscape construction Lighting (roadway and pedestrian scale lighting) Utility construction and coordination (water, sanitary sewer, storm water, electrical, gas, and communications) Traffic signal construction The services required for this solicitation will encompass complete CM services for the scope of work. The project consists of upgrades in and around the Metro Nashville Fairgrounds site. Scope to include, but not limited to: Benton Avenue Extension/Upgrade Wedgewood Avenue Extension/Upgrade Wedgewood Avenue Bridge over Brown’s Creek Rains Avenue Improvements Sidewalks/hardscape/landscaping along Benton Avenue and Wedgewood Avenue Lighting along Benton Avenue and Wedgewood Avenue New water service in Benton Avenue New water service taps for proposed MLS Stadium and undeveloped sites adjacent to Benton Avenue New storm water and sanitary sewer in Benton Avenue Storm water and sanitary sewer upgrades in Wedgewood Avenue Electrical/communications duct bank in/along Benton Avenue and Wedgewood Avenue Natural gas service Other transportation/utility infrastructure needs identified throughout the course of the contract In addition to the CM services needed for the reference improvements, coordination with a number of stakeholders actively involved on the Metro Fairgrounds campus will be required. Stakeholders include, but are not limited to the following entities: Metro Program Manager, Owner’s Representative, Design team, and Owner (Metro Nashville Fairgrounds and Sports Authority) involved with the planning and design efforts associated with these transportation / utility infrastructure items MLS Stadium CM Team, Contractors, Subcontractors, Owner’s Representative, and Design team Developer, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Design team involved with the proposed Mixed-Use development along proposed Benton Avenue Metro Nashville Fairgrounds staff who actively manage various public events on the campus (flea market, shows, races, etc.) Various Metro Nashville Departments (Public Works, Metro Water Services, etc.) Nashville Electric Service (NES) Third party franchise utility providers (gas, communications, etc.)
