Specifications include, but are not limited to: The new MNPS Wellness Center will offer similar services to the center located on the Board of Education campus at Bransford Ave. The functions may include but are not limited to a workout gym with a small group room and lockers with shower facilities, a Vanderbilt Outpatient Clinic, a Pharmacy, a Physical Therapy Clinic, a Chiropractic Office and conference/meeting room spaces. Several sites in the Madison area will be considered. The selected A/E will provide site studies for each site as part of his/her basic services. The selected site will be brought up to ADA and storm water compliance as required by code. The project may include but not limited to full services for civil/site design, landscaping, architectural design, interiors, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical design. The designer is to include low voltage devices and pathways on their drawings. The successful Architect will become responsible for coordinating outside vendor equipment design and installation as required to complete the project. The data network design will be completed by MNPS Network Engineers and the designer will be responsible for coordination with the MNPS departments of Information Technology and Security during the design phase to obtain the information to be shown on the construction documents. The facility must be designed to a minimum of LEED Silver.
