To establish a cost per towing occurrence of disabled JCPD vehicles and vehicles seized and/or confiscated by the JCPD. Pricing includes removal/tow from within and up to 5 miles of the municipal limits of Jefferson City. JCPD vehicles that have been severely damaged, requiring a considerable amount of time and effort to load and transport, are not included within the scope of this RFP. Requirements: 1. Vendor must hold a current certification by the TN Department of Safety and Homeland Security and maintain that certification annually, or as required by the TDSHS (window sticker must be visible). Certificate must be submitted with bid. 2. Vendor must maintain compliance with all guidelines, policies, rules and directives set forth in the TN Department of Safety and Homeland Security Towing Service Standards Manual (Rev 2014). An electronic copy will be made available upon request. 3. Must possess and maintain liability insurance coverage (must be submitted with bid).
