Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of these specifications is to set forth and convey to prospective proposers the general requirements for Website Design, Development and Hosting desired by the Knox County School System (herein after referred KCS) and the Garrett A. Morgan Technology and Transportation Education Program (GAMTTEP) Clearinghouse. The purpose of the GAMTTEP is to improve the preparation of students, particularly women and minorities, in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through curriculum development and other activities related to transportation education. The GAMTTEP clearinghouse will serve as a national centralized organization for the collection, classification, and distribution of information; a channel for distributing assistance; and a venue for advocacy and marketing of transportation to the STEM education community. The University of Tennessee, North Carolina A & T State University and the STEMspark Hub are collaborative partners with KCS on the GAMTTEP Clearinghouse project.
