The City of Gallatin – Department of Public Utilities and the Gallatin Department of Electricity are seeking proposals from qualified Contractors to provide professional services in the field locating and marking of underground water, sanitary sewer, natural gas, and electric utilities. The water distribution system consists of approximately 354 miles of water distribution main serving over 19,500 water meters, the sanitary sewer system consists of approximately 286 miles of sanitary sewer main, the natural gas distribution system consists of approximately 413 miles of natural gas main serving over 18,200 gas meters, and the electric system consists of approximately 152 miles of underground electric main serving over 26,200 meters. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, paint, flags (naming the City of Gallatin and Contractor telephone number), and transportation.
