Construct a new Aviation Campus for TCAT Memphis including site development, utilities, paving and landscaping.. The Aviation Maintenance Technology program prepares students to inspect, repair, service, and overhaul airframe and power plant systems by providing specialized classroom instruction and practical hands-on experience in the field of aviation, airframe, and power plant maintenance. As the TCAT has been requested to vacate existing facilities, this new campus will provide space for the existing programs to relocate and grow. The new facility will include hanger space, classrooms, technical training labs, student space office and support spaces. A new site will provide space to build necessary facilities and include room for expansion of both building and parking to meet future needs. The new building is anticipated to total approximately 55,000 gross square feet. The project is further described in the outline program and concept documents attached to this RFQ.
