Vehicles covered by this ITB, and any resulting Contract, shall include compact, midsize, and full size sedans, police interceptor/pursuit and SSV vehicles, Class 1 through Class 5 trucks (light and medium-duty trucks), vans up to 1 ton, SUV’s, and other models normally sold by each Contractor. This ITB includes Hybrids, Electrics, Flex Fuel Vehicles (FFV), Diesels, Compressed Natural Gas vehicles (CNG) and other Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFV). This ITB does not include buses or class 6,7, or 8 trucks. A. All Vehicles shall be new and unused for the OEM’s 2026 model year. B. All Vehicles shall be designed, constructed, equipped, and installed to be fully suitable for their intended use, purpose, and service. These vehicles will be primarily used to conduct law enforcement / emergency activities, including pursuit activities, and transport people and limited cargo in the State of Tennessee on typical federal, State, county, and city highways and roads (improved and unimproved), and shall be designed to operate under typical environmental conditions encountered in the State. C. All Vehicles shall include all Features and Components indicated as standard equipment by the OEM unless specifically deleted herein. No Features or Components indicated as standard equipment by the OEM shall be removed unless specifically required herein. Any Options, Features, and Components necessary to meet the requirements of the Specification and order shall be included and installed.
