Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will provide security services to be handled by unarmed, uniformed Security Guards, as defined herein, at each of the States Welcome Centers as set forth on Exhibit A to this Contract (hereafter individually and jointly referred to as the Welcome Centers). The security services to be rendered by Security Guards at the Welcome Centers will include, but not be limited to, communication and interaction with the public to better secure the Welcome Center buildings, employees and/or visitors with respect to parking infractions, public safety and/or health-related matters, medical situations, prevention and/or deterrence of criminal activity and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency personnel. Such security services may be modified at the States discretion as new posts are created and/or old posts are deleted at new or existing Welcome Centers as circumstances warrant (each Security Guard assignment to a particular Welcome Center shall hereafter be referred to as a Post). The Contractor will also provide additional Security Guards to render the services set forth herein in response to ad hoc security needs for special events or unforeseen requirements within twenty-four (24) hours of notice by the State. For purposes of this Contract, Security Guards shall report security-related incidents/events initially to the appropriate Welcome Center Manager, however, if said Welcome Center Manager is unavailable, then such a report shall be made to the Welcome Centers Regional Manager, and if the Regional Manager is likewise unavailable, then to the States Welcome Center Director provided, however, if the Security Guard determines the incident/event is serious in nature, the procedures set forth in Section A.1.2. shall be followed and any and/or all of the above Welcome Center supervisory personnel may be contacted. Security Guard services pursuant to this Contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following: A.1.1. Non-Emergency Services shall include those services noted in Section A.1., in addition to the following: a. Provide surveillance of ingress and egress to the buildings, grounds and parking areas at the Welcome Centers b. Investigate and provide Incident Reports for criminal acts, incidents and accidents committed and/or occurring at State Welcome Centers and/or surrounding State property
