Specifications include, but are not limited to: Shelby County Government is soliciting written proposals, on a competitive basis, from interested and qualified companies to provide professional security services to provide monitoring of metal detectors and x-ray machines as well as provide guard and other security services at specified locations for Shelby County buildings and properties. Describe your approach to meeting each of the following requirements: 1. The Contractor must have adequate staff to furnish approximately 120,695 man hours (annually) of professional security guard services requested by the County to perform the services outlined in the RFP. This includes 118,183 man hours of staffing with “Armed Security Guards” and 2,512 man hours of on-site Supervision. 2. The Contractor must provide full service at 12:01 a.m. on July 1, 2020 or immediately upon the execution of thecontract. 3. The Contractor must be the employer of all officers assigned to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, as such, shall be responsible for all costs involved in their employment including but not limited to salaries, fringe benefits, taxes, insurance, training, uniforms, etc. 4. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for the compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the employment of security guards
