Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor is responsible for providing road salt in accordance with ASTM 632 which is attached to this solicitation. All De-Icing salt must be uniformly treated with anti-caking agent (anti-cake, storite, or equal) evenly distributed throughout at a minimum rate of twenty (20) parts per million (PPM). Must meet the Tennessee Department of Transportation specifications. Salt to be delivered in a free flowing and usable condition. Salt which is not free flowing and in usable condition upon arrival at its destination will be rejected. Moisture content shall not exceed two (2%) percent by weight for stockpile delivery. Salt is subject to be tested at any time for quality. Contractor must be able to provide salt at a destination that has a one (1) hour round trip drive time for Metro. **See Sodium Chloride Specification for additional information** Cost Spreadsheet Please complete the attached Cost Spreadsheet and attach it to your submitted quote.
