Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide nationally-normed, skills-based universal screening instruments (assessments) for MNPS students in grades K-8 for reading, mathematics, and writing, to be based on and compliant with The Tennessee RTI2 Manual and Implementation Guide. Provide skill-based progress monitoring that objectively determines a rate of improvement. The results of the monitoring will be used to determine academic growth of individual students and/or eligibility for Special Education Services. Assessments will be conducted for 57,000+ students three times per year. Train-the-trainer training for approximately 200 MNPS staff members. Recipients of the training will be capable of training MNPS teachers and staff members in the use of Contractor's assessment tools, reports, etc.
