Assist with implementing a Records Management Digitization Project (“Project”). The Project’s purpose is to scan and electronically digitize existing hard copy files. Once implemented, the Project will assist the County in enhancing customer service, improving staff productivity and utilizing technology to make records more accessible to the public. Scanning of Files: Scanning includes documents of various sizes with a mix of color and black and white. The following scanning criteria must be met: A. Laserfiche: Ability to provide scanned images and related metadata that will upload seamlessly into Laserfiche; working directly with Laserfiche provider during the import. B. Ability to Scan: a. Manila folders – content in file folders b. Legal documents c. Letters d. Carbon copies e. Photo exhibits f. Spiral bound books g. Tabbed paper h. Folded documents i. All ANSI sized documents C. Images: a. Duplex scan documents to capture both front and back of documents where needed. Images must be oriented correctly for viewing. Text must be readable up to the edge of the document.
