Preparation Phase Hardware: Should be taped off before work begins. Deep Clean: The tub surface must be thoroughly cleaned to remove all soap scum, oils, and dirt. Repairs: Any chips, scratches, burns, or dings must be repaired and filled to create a smooth surface. Masking and Ventilation: Surrounding areas (walls, floors, fixtures) must be properly masked off to protect them from overspray. The work area must be adequately ventilated due to chemical use. Curing: Let residents know of expected cure time. Hardware: Should be un-taped after completion of the work. Clean-up: Remove all mask materials, debris, and equipment from the site and legally disposing of all waste.
