MDHA has its own maintenance crews, but often times may need additional help to meet the demands of its residents. Through this RFQ, MDHA intends to find Qualified Vendors that are experienced and licensed (as applicable) in the trades listed below. Vendors must currently be legally able to work in the State of Tennessee. Vendors may be qualified and interested in one, several, or all trades listed below. Subcontracting is allowed, but potential subcontractor(s) shall be disclosed as part of this Solicitation, and any additional subcontractor(s) added for a specific Request for Bids/Quotes shall be disclosed in the Qualified Vendor’s Bid or Quote. Potential subcontractors may be listed with more than one Vendor and may also Respond to this Solicitation directly. Vendors that are deemed Responsive and Responsible will be qualified by MDHA. MDHA will award Master Contracts to Qualified Vendors and added to the Vendor List. This Master Contract only sets out general terms and conditions for working with MDHA. An Example of this Master Contract can be found in Exhibits A and B. The Master Contract does not guarantee work. MDHA may direct award a Qualified Vendor if the work to be conducted is less than $10,000 or $2,000 if the work is federally funded. For work that is greater than $10,000, Qualified Vendors are expected to provide Quotes and Bids to Scope(s) of Work as released to the Vendor List. Bids/Quotes received in Response to a Request for Bids/Quotes based on a Scope of Work from MDHA will be awarded to the Lowest Bid. The Low Bidder is expected to execute a Purchase Order or Service Order with MDHA based upon their submitted Bid/Quote without alteration and within seven (7) business days after MDHA issues the Purchase Order or Service Order. The terms and conditions of the Master Agreement shall apply to all Service Orders and Purchase Orders except where specific terms and conditions of the Service Order or Purchase Order conflict with the Master Agreement. The Service Order or Purchase Order, together with the Master Agreement, forms a Service Agreement.
