The City of Mt. Juliet requests insurance proposals for property and liability insurance coverage. The city has current coverage with Public Entity Partners (PEP). The city desires coverage that is similar and virtually equivalent. Proposals must highlight major differences that would exclude coverage of a loss that is currently covered. The following material is available to assist interested parties in preparing a proposal. 1) The current Property and Liability coverage is on the city website. 2) Copy of most recent loss runs associated with the coverage. 3) Financial Strength of a carrier is paramount to consideration and therefore consideration will only be given to carriers rated not less than A by AM Best, A by Fitch, A1 by Moody or A by S&P. Insurance pools that are classified by the state of Tennessee as equivalent to the current carrier will also be acceptable for consideration. 4) Proposals will be accepted directly from a carrier or through an insurance agency.
