Specifications include, but are not limited to: The base scope of work for the MNDES Project Contract Administrator (PA) is toperform operational and administrative oversight of the Metro Nashville DistrictEnergy System to ensure services to DES customers continue at a high level ofperformance and the physical assets are maintained to not less than industrystandards. Services performed will include but not be limited to: 1) Conduct regularmonitoring activities of the System Operator (SO) 2) coordinate the development ofand maintain records on DES operations including, but not limited to, capital andoperating budgets, utility and service purchases, rate structures, customer data,service and management agreements 3) review and approve all invoices to and fromthe District Energy System 4) ensure the responsibilities of Metro Government in thecustomer service agreements are met 5) provide customers with assistance inresponding to requests for information on service issues, rate structure and servicecharges 6) provide ongoing review and technical assessment of the EGF and EDSequipment, piping, structures and appurtenances to insure long-term system reliabilityand reduce costs associated with unplanned outages and deferred maintenance 7)provide engineering and consultation for expansion as a result of new customercontracts and 8) provide oversight to public relations activities
