PARK THEATER PERFORMANCE SOUND SYSTEM The City of McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department will receive sealed bids for a Professional Tour Grade Performance Sound System. The following specifications describe the minimum requirements for the services, materials, and equipment expected. The material/equipment bid will be new, of current design and production models and available to the commercial market. Any additions, deletions or variations from the following specifications must be noted or the bid will be rejected. Standard items appearing in the manufacturer’s published specifications furnished by the bidder shall be included in the bid unless otherwise noted. One copy of the manufacturer’s published specifications shall be included with the bid 1. SOUND SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS A. SYSTEM MUST INCLUDE LEFT & RIGHT MAINS, SUBWOOFERS, AND DOWN STAGE FRONT FILLS. AMPLIFIERS AND ALL REQUIRED CABLING TO ALLOW SYSTEM TO OPERATE. B. FEATURES: Left & right mains must include minimum of 10 individual speakers (woofer, horn, tweeter, etc) per side. Minimum 4 Subwoofers Minimum 2 cabinets for downstage front fills Speakers may be point source or line array System must be functional in both flown or ground stacked configurations Amplifiers must have built in DSP completely accessible to Park Theater staff. C. Specifications System should be able to reach every seat in the auditorium at 106 decibels System should be from manufactures regularly requested by professional touring riders. D. INSTALLATIONS: Main Left and Right cabinets should be flown from the ceiling just in front of the stage. Subwoofers should be installed and recessed under the stage Cable should be installed in an orderly fashion with proper labeling System should be installed to allow switching between performance system and currently installed cinema system. Ceiling weight limitations determined by structural engineer will be issued to installer from Park Theater. Flown speakers may be dead hung or on motors. All tools needed for installations (including lifts) will be provided by installer. Installation should be completed within 45 days of the bid being awarded.
