The ideal firm will demonstrate expertise in municipal park planning, design, and project management, with the ability to deliver a turn-key process that carries the project from community visioning through construction close-out. The City of Red Bank is seeking a consultant that can balance creative site design with technical accuracy, ensuring that all work remains consistent with the City’s Parks & Recreation Master Plan and remains in budget. The consultant will be expected to lead a public engagement process that aligns with the City’s Parks & Recreation Community Engagement SOP and reflects the diversity of Red Bank’s residents. The firm will support the City in communicating progress by providing project photos and assisting with public information materials. Design deliverables will include conceptual site plans, refinement into a preferred plan, and the production of final engineered construction documents suitable for bidding and permitting. The consultant will also be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, phasing strategies, and value engineering to ensure that the project is delivered within the budget.
