The City of Shelbyville seeks to retain the professional services of a qualified environmental professional (QEP) to conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) at the former Aramark facility located at 1315 Madison Street, Shelbyville, TN 37160. This project is funded under a grant contract with the State of Tennessee. The work will be completed in accordance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) guidelines for brownfield assessments. Overview: The objective of this project is to evaluate recognized environmental conditions identified in the prior Phase I ESA and to determine the nature and extent of potential contamination at the property. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting field sampling, laboratory analysis, and reporting in accordance with applicable federal and state standards, and for coordinating closely with the City and the State.
