These specifications require the successful Bidder to include the furnishing of all professional services, skilled services, labor, materials, insecticides, tools, equipment, insurance, permits and fees necessary to accomplish insect and rodent control hereinafter described. Services shall include, but not be limited to, the control of flying and crawling insects and rodents. The areas specified in this agreement shall be inspected and serviced at least once a month unless otherwise specified. The successful Bidder and the City of Sevierville shall determine the date service is to be provided. The successful Bidder will provide one (1) call back service per month at no additional charge to the City of Sevierville. Callback service will be upon request by the City of Sevierville when previous treatment fails to control the pests specified herein. Each Bidder shall thoroughly familiarize themselves with each site listed herein. Personnel at each location will show the Bidder the areas to be treated by appointment only. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to fully understand the size and nature of the areas to be serviced. All work shall be executed in a manner and time frame that will cause the least practical disturbance to the occupants of the building. Before any work commences, a plan of operation shall be presented to and approved by the City of Sevierville. Successful Bidder shall conform to all fire prevention regulations and shall exercise every precaution in the storage of flammable material in the use of fire. Smoking is not allowed except as permitted under City of Sevierville regulations. The successful Bidder should have a technical staff and be licensed with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. This technical staff must be available to the City of Sevierville upon one (1) days’ notice. All materials used by the pest control company shall conform to State and local laws or ordinances and shall be judged acceptable by the City of Sevierville. Special care shall be exercised in the use of liquid insecticides in areas having asphaltic, mastic or linoleum floor surfaces. The successful Bidder must provide the City of Sevierville with: A list of the materials and/or chemicals to be used. A material Safety Data Sheet for each chemical which will be used. (Additional copies of the material safety data sheets must be provided to the personnel at each location.) Any other relevant technical information such as rate of dilution, dispersal amount, etc.
