The scope of work generally consists of installation of a multi layered perimeter intrusion detection system (PIDS) at Memphis International Airport. Work efforts include, but are not necessarily limited to, electrical, fiber, earthwork, cable barrier installation, specialized intrusion detection software/programming and all services as necessary to install a complete security detection system as detailed in the construction documents. Intrusion detection components shall include fence mounted fiber optic sensors, variable frequency buried cable detection, CCTV cameras and microwave sensors. The PIDS must allow for full integration to the existing MSCAA central monitoring alarm system. The PIDS will need specialized coordination from the manufacturer to ensure that approved installation, integration and programming techniques are utilized. The installer/contractor should hold high level certifications from CCTV and access control system manufacturers (for example- Pelco Certified Professional, Cisco Gold Partner, etc.) and be capable of integrating any new software into the current system configuration.
