Mill Ridge Park is one of Metro Nashville's newest Regional Parks. The 600-acre property in Southeast Davidson County is located near Cane Ridge High School off of Old Hickory Boulevard. Identified in Nashville Naturally and NashvilleNext as the last quadrant of the county in need of a large acreage anchor park, the property will serve the southeast-Davidson community with trails and park facilities that are greatly needed. The diverse demographics of the Antioch area both economically and ethnically - this area of Nashville has the largest percentage of "new Americans" in the entire county - creates a distinctive opportunity to provide a park designed specifically as an inclusive space for all Nashvillians. * Phase I of Mill Ridge Park was completed in 2023. The new park includes one of Nashville's largest destination playground as well as a large event lawn for community performances and festivals. Additional park features include outdoor fitness equipment and trail loop, a basketball court, picnic shelters, restrooms, parking, grassland meadows and almost 300 new trees. The Metro Arts Commission has also commissioned a permanent, interactive public art installation at the entrance of the Park. * Mill Ridge Phase II's master plan and construction documents were designed by Kimley-Horn and will introduce new toddler play and water play areas, an event pavilion, a public cooking hearth, additional parking, walking paths, restrooms, and the restoration of the historic Moore Farmhouse. * The Phase II Construction Document (CD) set, comprising plans and specifications, will serve as the basis on which proposals are hereby being solicited. The scope of subsequent phases will continue to be refined as the project progresses.
