Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide three master’s level school based therapists who are under the direction and supervision of the service provider by a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT to support safety and mental health service needs. These School-Based Mental Health Therapists will provide early intervention, prevention, consultation, assessment, and referral services five days a week for each position. The qualified contracted personnel will be located as follows: One therapist will be housed at Tennessee High School and the Innovative High School/Viking Academy campus. One therapist will be housed at Tennessee Middle School. One therapist will rotate between the five elementary schools 2. Provide two School-Based Case Managers to support schools across the district for five days a week for each position. One case manager will concentrate on secondary grades. One case manager will concentrate on primary grades. Although case managers may be assigned to elementary or secondary grades, the placement will ultimately be made based upon the needs of students in the district. 3. All therapists, case managers, and service providers will coordinate mental health services for all schools and support at schools across the System, as needed. The contracted personnel will work and assist our school system's counseling, student services and safety teams. They will also assist with intakes for our schools and student safety plans. 4. The service provider agrees to be bound by the terms of any student's IEP, physicians' orders, System Policies, and Tennessee and federal law. 5. Provide suicide prevention training and other mental health related trainings to school faculty and staff as requested.
