The project will consist of renovating an existing 1,836 s.f. loadbearing CMU facility with existing wood trusses and metal roof. The scope of the project is primarily interior related with new sub-divided areas including team restroom, team meeting room, referee lounge, referee dressing area, shared referee shower/female restroom, and utility room. The project will involve new flooring finishes including rubber sports floor in the team room, epoxy floors with flakes in the restrooms, and LVP flooring in the referee rooms. The wall and ceiling systems will involve a 1/2” PVC panel system which will not be painted over wood framing. The exterior CMU will be repainted and all glass block sills will be evaluated for cracking and rebuilding with a parged concrete application. New PVC sewer lines will be saw cut into the existing floor and a new 150 amp electrical service panel will replace the existing panel. Existing hollow metal doors and frames will be replaced with new hollow metal frames with insulated doors. The existing concrete floor was designed with a 2” slope from east to west, so the Contractor will need to take this into consideration when framing/finishing the interior spaces. The attic will receive new R-49 blown in insulation where none exists currently. The mechanical system will involve a single Bard unit with four (4) mini-ductless split systems. Heated water will be supplied by a tankless water heater. No other significant work scope items exist beyond that stated above.
