Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1 Mowing: All lawn areas will be cut weekly as needed (weather permitting) during the growing season. Schedule may change occasionally due to special events at campus but will be communicated in advance. Landscaping equipment appropriate to the terrain should be used to insure a manicured look. A fine trimmer will be used to trim around buildings and other obstacles. The large grass lot behind the TCAT Pulaski Main Building will be bush hogged as needed. Clean up incidentals debris and trash from grassy areas and place them in the customer’s trash collection area before mowing.; 1.2 Trimming: Walks and drives will be edged with a mechanical edger.; 1.3 Weeding: Remove weeds and unwanted grass from all grassy and bed areas as needed.; 1.4 Cleanup: Remove all clippings and debris from drives, walks, parking areas and patios, etc. including fallen limbs. Clean up incidental debris and trash from landscaped areas and place them in the customer’s trash collection area.; 1.5 Soil Sterilizer: “Roundup,” shall be applied as needed, to control weeds in all hard-surface areas, including all driveway, sidewalk, and parking lot areas of the College. This shall be done five (5) times per year.; 2. Planting Beds Maintenance: 2.1. Mulching: Brown hardwood mulch will be applied twice a year in the Spring and Fall to all planting beds and tree wells. Except where gravel is present.; 2.2 Post-emergent: If necessary, post-emergent herbicides will be used to eliminate unwanted weeds from planting areas.; 2.3 Hard Surfaces: Hard surfaces will be treated with non-selective herbicides on an as needed basis to control weeds growing in cracks and crevices.; 3. Horticulture Program: 3.1 Pruning: Pruning will be done on as needed basis for shrubbery to maintain an attractive appearance. These services will be performed on a bimonthly basis as needed throughout the growing season. Trees less than 20’ in height will be pruned as needed to remove sucker growth and dead wood.; 3.2 Leaf removal: Collect all fallen leaves at least one time each month during October, November, December, and January. Inspect the property on a bi-weekly basis and remove leaves and debris to maintain a neat and attractive appearance throughout the winter.; 3.3 Monthly Meetings: The landscape vendor management shall meet with TCAT Pulaski administration a minimum of once (1) per month to discuss and review landscaping and related issues and concerns at an agreed upon date and time.
