Corridors and Lobbies (Daily): Empty trash cans and replace liners Dust mop floors Clean and disinfect drinking fountains Clean entrance door glass and frames Spot clean walls (as needed) Damp mop floors Clean walk-off mats Rest Rooms (Daily): Empty trash cans and replace liners Clean and disinfect urinals, commodes, sinks, etc. Clean chrome and other metal surfaces Spot wash doors, walls, and partitions Clean mirrors Re-stock tissue, towels, and other sanitary supplies Sweep floors Wet mop floors with disinfectant solution Classrooms and Laboratories (Daily): Empty trash cans and replace liners Dust horizontal and vertical surfaces Clean marker board trays Clean marker board surfaces Clean / polish furniture Dust mop floors Spot damp mop floors if needed Laboratories: clean and disinfect sinks, table tops, and other equipment Computer labs: dust and clean around computers and table tops Offices, Reception Areas and Conference Room (Daily): Empty trash cans and replace liners Dust horizontal and vertical surfaces Vacuum carpeting Clean and polish furniture Library (Daily): Empty trash cans and replace liners Dust horizontal and vertical surfaces Dry mop floors Clean desks and table tops Dust bookshelves Dust and clean around computers and tables Spot damp mop floors if needed Break room and Snack Area (Daily): Empty trash cans and replace liners Dry mop / sweep floor Clean chairs and tables Spot wash doors, countertops and walls Wipe down microwave, vending machines and other equipment Damp mop floor Other Cleaning Duties (Various Timetables) Glass Cleaning: Clean outside glass twice annually Clean inside glass in rooms monthly Clean door glass in corridors and hallways daily Floor Stripping and Waxing: Floors are to be stripped annually (or sooner if needed) Once stripped, halls, lobbies and circulation areas will be waxed with a minimum of four (4) coats of wax / sealer. All other areas will require two (2) coats or wax / sealer. Floors must be maintained per daily routine for mopping and spray buffing. Carpet Cleaning: Clean carpet annually. Spot clean daily as necessary. Vacuum daily as per normal routine. Outside: Empty outside trash cans and replace liners (weekly or as needed) Cleaning Supplies: The vendor will provide all cleaning supplies, including soap, paper towels and toilet paper for the restrooms. The Institution will provide a small janitorial closet with water access and another closet that can be utilized to store paper & cleaning supplies.
