Techniques and treatment protocols shall include, but not be limited to management of the following most prevalent medical conditions or diagnoses: • Minor lacerations, bruises (suturing, administration of Tetanus Toxic etc.) • Respiratory and chestpain • Alteration of consciousness • Trauma injuries • Asthma • Abdominal pain/disorders • Cellulitis • Joint pains • Diabetes and complications • Myocardial infarctions, cardio-pulmonarydiseases • Varicose ulcers (lesions secondary to diabetes or other circulatory problems) • Menstrual disorders • AIDS and relatedillnesses • Venousinsufficiency (blood vessel disorders) • Hypertension • Drug Psychoses • Tuberculosis • COVID symptoms • Flu • MRSA • Epilepsy • Cirrhosis and liverdisease • Hepatitis • Cancers • Any disorder that may be identified pursuant to applicable standard of care. 3.3 EQUIPMENT, SUPPLIES, AND TREATMENT PROTOCOLS: Vendorshall have the minimum equipment, supplies, and treatment protocols in place to provide the basic clinical assessmentstudies: • Urine testing • Blood sugartest • Electrocardiograms(EKG’s) • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) • Tuberculin PPDTesting • Pregnancy testing • Gram stains • Hemoccult testing and Hematocrittesting • Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) (Equipment onsite at Jail) • X-Ray Screening • Covid 19 Tests • Drug Withdraws(Jail hasspecific policy and procedures)
