High Purity Germanium Detectors; Detector #1 (Quantity of one (1)); Planar detector with a 3” diameter aluminum end-window configuration with an electronic efficiency of at least 40% and a Full Width-Half Maximum (FWHM) resolution of 0.875 keV or better at 122 keV and 1.80 keV or better at 1.3 keV. Detector #2 (Quantity of one (1)); Well detector with a 10 mm diameter, 190 cc active volume aluminum end-window configuration with an electronic efficiency of at least 40% and a Full Width-Half Maximum (FWHM) resolution of 1.2 keV or better at 122 keV and 2.1 keV or better at 1.3 keV. NOTE: Both detectors are to be supplied in an upright configuration with 30-liter liquid nitrogen cryostats equipped with electronic level monitoring. The supplied multichannel analyzers must be accessible via ethernet and USB, provide options for access from multiple laboratory stations, and be capable of communicating with the existing Genie 2000 software platform to ensure integration with other laboratory components. Vendor must supply all necessary electronics (power supplies, pre-amplifiers, cables, etc.) Both detectors are to be provided with free standing lead background shields, consisting of four inches of lead with graded interior shielding (typically copper and tin) to reduce secondary gamma emissions. The shields shall be configured to have both top- and front-opening capabilities. Vendor to supply factory characterization/calibration data traceable to NIST multi-energy sources.
