Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is requesting sealed proposals from qualified vendors to Install Digital Direct Control (DDC) systems throughout the school district. The Building Management System (BMS) at MNPS is a Honeywell Building Control Platform on the Tridium Niagara Framework. The selected contractor(s) shall provide the installation and local programming of standalone DDC systems based on the design specifications provided by the owner. The contractor(s) will install System Network Controllers (SNC/JACE) connecting to Programable Equipment Controllers (Spyder/Optimizer) via a Local Area Network (LAN). All installations shall be built to conform to the districts existing Building Management System (BMS/Supervisor). The expectation is that the selected contractor(s) shall provide a complete functional HVAC control system. Front-End integration shall be the responsibility of the contracted Controls Integration vendor selected in a separate solicitation. Projects in this solicitation will exclude: connection to the existing main system platform (supervisor), graphics, scheduling, alarming, trending, and other specialty programming required by the owner. Coordination and collaboration between the Installation contractor(s) and the Integration contractor will be required.
