The contractor shall provide the following services: 2.1 Air Duct Cleaning - Conduct a thorough inspection of the ductwork to identify areas requiring special attention. - Remove dust, debris, allergens, and contaminants from the ductwork using high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) vacuum equipment. - Sanitize duct surfaces using EPA-approved cleaning agents. - Verify post-cleaning airflow to confirm system efficiency. 2.2 HVAC Coil Cleaning - Perform inspection and cleaning of both evaporator and condenser coils. - Utilize suitable cleaning solutions to remove dirt and build up from the coils effectively. 2.3 Dryer Duct Cleaning - Inspect dryer ducts and vents for lint buildup, blockages, and wear. - Use specialized tools for thorough lint removal, including lint brushes and duct cleaning vacuums. - Disconnect dryers from the power source before cleaning for safety. - Thoroughly clean the entire length of the ductwork, including necessary disassembly of sections. - Seal all connections and seams in the ductwork to prevent lint escape. 2.4 Mold Remediation - Conduct a comprehensive assessment of mold presence within affected areas. - Implement containment procedures to prevent the spread of mold spores during the remediation process. - Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Where necessary, remove and properly dispose of contaminated materials, including insulation, drywall, or furnishings. - Clean and sanitize affected surfaces using EPA-approved mold remediation agents. - Conduct post-remediation testing to verify that mold levels are within acceptable limits.
