Specifications include, but are not limited to: These services include removal of grease trap waste, transport grease trap waste to an approved location in accordance with DOT and EPA Standards/Regulations, dispose of grease waste within Environmental Protection Agency regulations, and provide documentation as required by MTSU. A. Remove grease waste from MTSU grease traps. B. Set up a maintenance schedule in accordance with campus shutdowns for in-ground tanks (Spring Break, Summer Break and Christmas Break). C. Grease traps shall be inspected and emptied based on amount in tanks. Amount shall not exceed 30% solids. D. Grease traps under sinks shall be monitored and set up on a schedule in accordance with campus shutdowns or kitchen needs.
