Project Requirements: Metro Parks will engage a General Contractor (GC) to provide construction services to complete Phase One of the Project, following plans prepared by the Architect/Engineer (A/E). The project shall be complete, operating, and ready for use on or before the date of Substantial Completion and within the Project budget agreed upon by Metro Parks and the GC. Cultural Resource Protection: Because of the historic significance of the site, some portions of the site are to be protected by fencing throughout the project; other sections will require a Certified Archaeologist to be present whenever work is performed. The Certified Archaeologist will be a separate Contractor, with whom the GC will need to coordinate construction schedules. Metro will endeavor to facilitate efficient communication and timely performance of any archaeological work needed.
