Specifications include, but are not limited to: MNPS is seeking a qualified Contractor for the provision of repair, replacement, and new installation of commercial fire sprinkler systems and equipment. Contractor shall: Have and maintain a Tennessee Mechanical Subcontractor License or Tennessee Prime (General) Contractors License. Below are the acceptable licenses: BC, BC-B, BC-C, CMC, CMC-D. Have and maintain a Tennessee State Fire Marshal's office permit and license unit fire sprinkler systems contractor certification of registration. Be a licensed responsible manager employee. The RME must be one of the following: Registered Tennessee Professional Engineer, Registered Tennessee Architect, Certified at "Level III" for fire protection automatic sprinkler systems layout. Required response information for inspections: Inspection paperwork shall be provided within 2 business days after inspection has been completed and the systemhasbeen tagged, Deficiency quote to repair shall be provided within 3 business days after inspection has been completed and the system has been tagged, Notification and quote shall be provided to MNPS within 24 hours of a red tagged inspection. Required emergency response: Contractor shall meet a response time of 2hours when notified via phone call or email for all MNPS defined emergencies, Contractor shall provide a follow up email within 24 hours of emergency work being completed.
