The project will consist of an eight-story tower above grade. Floors one through three will have a split occupancy with the fire station and fire department headquarters, floors four through six will be occupied by the fire department headquarters, and floors seven and eight will be constructed as core and shell office space for Metro office use. Additionally, a five and one-half level below-grade parking (total level and size to be determined) structure will be located below the first floor with parking access provided from Jo Johnston Ave. Project scope summary is based on the site plan and concept documents contained and is defined as: • Fire Station 2: Apparatus and Bay Storage ~14,000 Gross SF (GSF) o Fire Station ~34,500 GSF o Exterior terrace ~7,400 GSF • Fire Department Headquarters: Fire department headquarters office +/- 100,000 GSF o Exterior terrace ~3,700 GSF • Core and Shell office space o Approximately 50,000 GSF • Below-grade parking garage: * Parking garage ~283,000 GSF * 5 -1/2 stories below-grade parking (To Be Confirmed) * Approximately 791 parking spaces (To Be Confirmed)
