Specifications include, but are not limited to: OSU-OKC maintains its own OSU-OKC Security Department with a fulltime staff of 8. Contract security services will be to cover vacations, sick, holidays, and other emergencies. Guard duties will consist of routine foot patrols at the exterior and the interior of all buildings and vehicular patrol of the grounds. Guards are responsible for monitoring fire alarm systems, working radio net, controlling access of personnel to the buildings after hours, and the performance of other administrative duties associated with security operations. The Security Service Contractor will insure and take all necessary steps to meet the Philosophy and the Mission of the OSU-OKC Security Department.
