Enrichment Science and Engineering Division (ESED) Fabricated Component Articles Expression of Interest Overview
UT-Battelle, LLC, manager and operator of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified firms for the fabrication, inspection, and delivery of precision machined component articles in accordance with ORNL engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). The BOA will establish a three-year base period with two additional one-year option periods to support ongoing and future research-driven manufacturing needs. This effort will include multiple part families with varying design maturity levels, requiring vendors to demonstrate flexibility and strong configuration control. As a national research organization, ORNL frequently refines component designs as development progresses. Accordingly, part revisions, quantities, and documentation needs will fluctuate, and selected firms must manage these changes effectively while maintaining adherence to technical, quality, and schedule expectations.
